I'm a curious, adventurous guy born-and-raised in Greenville, SC and now living in Brooklyn, NY. I've got a good sense of humor and a famously loud laugh. I love soulful religious singing, computer geekdom, intensity (generally speaking), learning cool skills (like knot tying) and teaching things to other people. I'm currently learning classical piano ... my first ever instrument. I have a strong Jewish identity, and I belong to a wonderful, spiritual and socially progressive synagogue in Brooklyn.

I've worn a lot of professional hats. I graduated from Duke University in 2003 with a degree in political theory and a minor in Chinese studies. After graduation, I cycled across the United States with two good buddies. After working in fine-dining and some world travel, I coordinated youth political action trainings in Washington DC, studied in Yeshiva, volunteered for Jewish-Palestinian coexistence programs, designed academic curricula, lectured in the classroom and worked as an outdoor experience guide. I currently work for a very cool organization called Digital Divide Data ("DDD"). DDD alleviates poverty in SE Asia and generates sustainable revenue at the same time. I engineer technical solutions, workflows, project plans, pricing, quality management and sales pursuits that drive business growth for our organization.

My family is wonderful.

My brother [right] is a software developer and a barrel of laughs. He lives in California. My father is a physician and self-proclaimed historian. My mom's ... well ... cute (plain and simple)! My parents both still live in South Carolina.
